There are a terrible lot of lies going about the world, and the worst of it is that half of them are true.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Located 12 miles East of Montrose, Colorado USA. The above pictue is a panorama of the East Portal at the bottom of the canyon, East Portal was a town created in 1905 for the construction workers and families who made the Gunnison Tunnel which brought water to the Uncompaghre Valley.
The dam is for the inlet to the tunnel, at right, and is constructed from plywood. It is rebuilt when necessary.
Street Photography - A tip for you!

The best image of your life can jump right in front of you on the way for your morning coffee. With Street Photography, that's something to cheer. While we aim for technical perfection, grainy images, less than sharp focus, or off-kilter framing, will not always ruin a street photograph. They can add to the realness of the moment. Sometimes the shortcomings may actually improve the image. Courtesy: Photographic Society of America

I use this Strap - It's perfect for mirrorless.

Neck Strap to Cross-Body, in Seconds
Utilizing a single slide-adjustment, the M1a Camera Strap quickly goes from 36″ to 56″.
And, with just the right amount of grip. Once you adjust it, it stays.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park
Looking Northwest at Sunset View. Autumn photo on a fairly clear day. Smoke from the fires in Californina is seen at the horizon. Grand Mesa West end is seen there as well. On the right is the actural viewpoint, a short walk from parking. The Gunnison River runs down the middle of the canyon. This viewpoint has restroom facilities and a picnic area.

I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer trained on the job as an intern news photographer in Pueblo, Colorado. I  graduated from two United States Navy Photographer Schools in Pensacola, Florida. Panoramic photography is always in my vision.  I have fun publishing on Flickr and continual learning with the Photographic Society of America - PSA. Flickr gives me a terrific outlet to share myself with other exceptional photographers. Photography makes me thankful for each day.  My camera system of choice is FUJIFILM X-Pro2 Mirrorless - two lenses. the 23 mm and the 50 mm.
